Every tool on Appstro is free and stays free — there is no paywall and no account required for the tools. That is what produces the traffic a placement here is worth buying.
Who reads it
- Indie iOS developers and small app teams shipping to the App Store.
- ASO practitioners, growth marketers and freelance consultants.
- People arriving mid-task — researching keywords, planning a launch, writing store metadata or preparing a submission.
Current traffic figures — sessions, search impressions, top countries and top pages straight out of Search Console and GA4 — are shared on request, as of September 2026. They are not printed here because a number on a page goes stale quietly and a buyer deserves the live one.
Rates
Starting prices. Every deal is quoted individually, flat fee, and renewals run at a discount. Formats marked in build are not selling yet — they are listed so you know what is coming and can get in early.
Sponsored article
from $400
A researched post on the Appstro blog covering a topic your product is genuinely relevant to, with a link and a disclosure banner. Written to the same evidence standard as every other post here — sourced claims, no invented numbers.
Editorial control stays with Appstro. You approve the factual description of your product, not the conclusions.
Enquire about thisMention in an existing page
from $250
A contextual mention and link added to a published page or article where your product is actually relevant to what the reader is doing.
Only where it genuinely fits. If there is no relevant page, a sponsored article is the honest alternative.
Enquire about thisFeatured placement in the tools directory
from $300 / month
A labelled sponsor slot at the top of a category in the app-growth tools directory, alongside the editorial listing.
The directory is in build. Free editorial listings are open now — submit your tool and it will be considered on the same terms as everything else.
Enquire about thisNewsletter sponsorship
on request
A sponsor slot in the weekly issue covering App Store chart movers and one ASO finding.
Current subscriber count is shared on request. No slot is sold before the list is large enough to be worth buying.
Enquire about thisAnnual report sponsorship
on request
Title sponsorship of an original data report built on this site's own dataset — rank history, cross-storefront pricing, localization coverage and metadata change tracking.
One sponsor per report. Data and conclusions are not for sale; the placement is.
Enquire about thisEvery paid link is marked rel="sponsored"
This is Google's published requirement for any link that has been paid for, and it protects both sides — a domain that sells dofollow links risks a manual action, and so does the site buying them.
It is not negotiable at any price. If a dofollow link is the requirement, this is not the right site, and saying so now saves us both an email.
What is not for sale
Stated up front, because the value of a placement here depends entirely on the editorial around it being worth trusting.
Dofollow paid links
Every paid link carries rel="sponsored". This is Google's published requirement for links that have been paid for, and it does not change at any price.
Editorial rankings
Position in a comparison, directory or list is decided by the stated criteria and is identical for advertisers and non-advertisers. Sponsor placements sit separately and are labelled as sponsored.
Reader or subscriber data
A sponsor buys a placement in front of the audience. The audience list itself is never sold, shared or rented.
Undisclosed placements
Every paid item is labelled on the page it appears on, not in a footer. Anything that would read as an editorial recommendation without disclosure is declined.
Reviews of products we have not used
Anything published here about a tool is checked first. If it cannot be verified it is not written, whoever is paying.
How it works
- 1
Email with what you are promoting and which format looks right. A link to your product is enough to start.
- 2
We agree the placement, the price and the page it lands on. Nothing is published before you have seen it.
- 3
It ships, labelled and disclosed, and you get the live URL.
Appstro is built and run by one developer. There is no media agency behind it, no rate negotiated through a network, and no inventory sold that has not been built yet.
If what you want is not on this page, say so anyway — the list above is what has been thought through, not the limit of what is possible.
